Batman Begins - Lands flat
Batman Begins -
The Plot - Bruce Wayne becomes the BATMAN. He transforms from a convict who is trying to hide from himself and his self pity about the death of his father into a man who wants justice. He is guided (mis) to the path by those who wish to take over Gotham. The movie is about the transformation or the journey of Bruce Wayne from an escapist to someone who will confront his fears and also injustice. The movie sets the stage for the only super hero who has no super human powers. It makes u understand the BATMAN
Movie - Well made, sleek, loud and well shot. The direction and the acting is good. It does actually take you through the mind of the Super Hero and on a subtle level explains that our weaknesses are aour opportunities towards strength.
It is a godo watch. I watched the IMAXversion and thus was overawed, It surely is a big screen movie.
However as usual, the end is not breath taking. The plot of destruction of Gotham and the plan to save it are shown to be too naive.
